AAEV business meetings are now held virtually every fall just prior to the USAHA in order to allow participation by as many members as possible. All veterinarians involved in extension, education or outreach are encouraged to attend our annual meetings and meet with colleagues from across the US!
Since 2005, the organization has planned the “Applied Animal and Public Health Research and Extension Symposium” in conjunction with the annual USAHA meeting.
The 19th Annual Applied Animal and Public Health Research and Extension Symposium, sponsored by the AAEV, will be held in person on Sunday , October 15, 2023 from 3:00 pm – 6:00pm Mountain Daylight Time, coinciding with the 127th U.S. Animal Health Association/ 64th American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians Annual Meeting.
Travel grants:
Up to two travel grants of $500 per applicant will be provided by the AAEV for eligible veterinary students, including DVM graduate students, on a competitive basis. This amount is intended to help cover expenses (transportation, lodging, food, etc.) incurred to attend the Applied Animal and Public Health Research and ExtensionSymposium and present an abstract.
