The American Association of Extension Veterinarians meets annually at the United States Animal Health Association (USAHA) annual meeting.
All veterinarians involved in extension, education or outreach are encouraged to attend our annual meetings and meet with colleagues from across the US.
The next AAEV business meeting will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Up to two travel grants of $500 per applicant will be provided by the American Association of ExtensionVeterinarians for eligible students on a competitive basis. This amount is intended to help cover expenses (transportation,
lodging, food, etc.) incurred to attend the Applied Animal and Public Health Research and Extension

Since 2005, the organization has planned the “Applied Animal and Public Health Research and Extension Symposium” in conjunction with the annual meeting.
We invite persons from all facets of veterinary medicine to submit an abstract on their work that highlights an animal or public health topic applicable to an audience of veterinarians involved in extension, regulatory, academia, and diagnostics.

Presenters will be given 15 minutes to summarize their project, and there will be 5 minutes allowed for Q&A. Abstracts will be made available after the Symposium in the USAHA Proceedings as well as on the AAEV website.
